ANNABELLE MOONEY

Partner
Annabelle has deep institutional experience supporting private equity investors across strategy, capital structure, M&A and financing. Over her career, Annabelle  has held senior leadership roles across leading global institutions, most recently serving as Managing Director and Head of Australia and New Zealand for J.P. Morgan’s Commercial Bank. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Annabelle worked in M&A and private equity coverage at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs and PricewaterhouseCoopers, advising local and international clients across the full investment lifecycle.
 
At ACG, Annabelle partners closely with founders and investors throughout the deal journey, drawing on her extensive market insight and long-standing corporate relationships to strengthen decision making and unlock value across the portfolio.

SALLY ROBINSON

Chief Operating Officer / Partner

Sally brings over two decades of experience in institutional banking, risk and data-led innovation across Asia, the Middle East and Australia. She has held a number of diverse senior roles at ANZ Banking Group, including Head of Data and New Propositions and Global Head of Guarantees, where she led global product, risk and operations for trade and transaction banking. Sally specialises in data products, digital automation, international trade and the application of emerging technologies to scalable commercial models. She holds a BCom (Honours) from the University of Edinburgh and a Certificate in Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional, alongside specialist qualifications in sustainable finance (Cambridge Institute) and fintech commerce (MIT).

At ACG Sally will lead the development of rigorous, technology-driven operating frameworks that enhance ACG’s internal processes and provide the foundation to support the growth and expansion of ACG’s portfolio companies.

PAUL CRONIN

Chief Investment Officer / Admiralty Resources Management

Paul Cronin’s career is truly international, having worked across six continents over a 30-year career in Investment Banking, Commodity Trading, and Funds Management, and most recently as the co-founder and CEO of one of the ASX’s most successful resource companies. Paul founded Adriatic Metals and drove it from a $1 million exploration company in 2017 to a $2 billion multi-commodity producer in 8 years, with the share price increasing 30x from its IPO on the ASX in 2018.

Prior to Adriatic Metals, Paul was VP of the highly successful RMB Resources fund in London, was Director of Origination for US-based Constellation Energy and led the sale of the Queensland Government’s assets to AGL in 2006. He has a unique perspective on the role of natural resources within the current geo-political climate and has been reported by The West Australian newspaper as one of Australia’s top 40 wealth creators in the mining sector.

Paul is the joint owner of ARM with ACG. Paul is a director and the CIO of ARM and is also the single largest investor in the Admiralty Resources Fund. Paul will lead the ARM team to identify growth opportunities and manage risk in the portfolio to maximise returns.

STUART HASLAM

Founding Partner

Stuart has over two decades of international experience in the Australian, Asia-Pacific & £M£A financial markets. He served as Deutsche Bank’s Global Head of Communications for the International Private Bank and Head of Group Communications for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

At ACG, Stuart manages the firm’s public positioning and strategy. He works closely with founders and their teams to develop communications and marketing strategies that set up their businesses for success.

BEN MICHAEL

Investor Relations / Founding Partner

Ben is a business development & relationship management expert, with a deep understanding of the Asia Pacific region. He has worked for over 25 years in Global Capital Markets across Equites, Fixed Income and Global Macro Sales. Ben worked for Deutsche Bank in London, then relocated to Hong Kong with roles at Citi, Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan, as Managing Director and Head of Macro Sales Asia Pacific. From 2027 to 2024, Ben led the Asian Equities business for Morgans Financial Limited.

NICK DARGAN

Legal & Regulatory Advisor

Nick is a legal and regulatory risk professional with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has held senior positions at various blue­chip institutions globally during his career, such as J.P. Morgan (Hong Kong), Credit Suisse (Hong Kong), and Bankers Trust (London).

Nick is well-known for his expertise in structured products and complex derivatives.

AMANDA ANDRIANO

Founding Partner

Amanda is a management consultant and talent specialist with over two decades of international experience. She studied leadership at Harvard Business School and has applied that expertise across global roles, including leading C-suite assessment and development for YSC in Hong Kong, and executive succession and development at ANZ Banking Group.

At ACG, Amanda leads founder­focused due diligence and drives portfolio performance by integrating leadership and talent imperatives.

RYAN HOLSHEIMER

CEO / Managing Partner

Ryan has three decades of trading and investment experience in the Australian and Asia-Pacific financial markets. His career journey has included senior leadership roles at Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Most recently Ryan served as J.P. Morgan’s Head of Asia Pacific Cash Equities and Equity Distribution.

Ryan spent 25 years based in Asia (Tokyo and Hong Kong) and has helped to build and lead some of the most successful teams in Asia’s modern market era.

Either driven by our own sourcing of opportunities or in response to bespoke requests from our investors, Admiralty Investment Group has experience providing specialist exposure on a bespoke basis across asset classes including: Emerging Market Resources and Commodities, Frontier Market Property, Block Chain Innovation, Property Technology and Speciality E-Commerce.

In identifying, assessing and implementing specialty funds, Admiralty IG utilises it’s vast global network of sector and product specialist built through three decades of financial markets experience.

Neptune fund is a fund of hedge funds that are managed by a select group of alternative investment managers who employ different absolute return strategies in pursuit of attractive risk-adjusted returns. The stable of hedge fund managers that the Neptune Fund allocates to are drawn from the best and brightest young Hegde Funds operating in Australian and Asia-Pacific. Our skill is in identifying those hedge fund managers that are proven yet innovative. The Neptune Fund deploys best-in-class processes to construct a diverse array of exposure that is not highly correlated to equity markets. With quarterly application and withdrawals, the Neptune Fund is more liquid for investors, relative to the Admiralty VC Funds.

Update: The Neptune Fund is an open fund and thus we can take applications and process withdrawals on a monthly basis. The next window for investment will close on 31st March 2024.
